Mother of Perpetual Help Center was created in 1997 to be a center for the development of the body and spirit, the potentials of HIV infected persons as well as the poor in the Province of Nong Bua Lamphu, Northeast Thailand.

The Center assists homeless and abandoned children with a decent livelihood and a proper education.

The Center assists HIV positive men and women with counseling and livelihood projects to promote a healthy and better lifestyle.

Mother of Perpetual Help Center was established to promote education and awareness of the HIV disease among the youth in schools and villages as a means of future prevention.

In 2010 a new home for HIV teenagers was opened and will accommodate up to 24 young men and women.  At the new Ban Mae Maria teenagers will be prepared for a future outside of institutional living. Through good education and health care they will be helped to integrate themselves into the outside world and will be helped to prepare themselves for normal and healthy relationships within the society.
